I graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2006 with a BA Hons in Fine Art. The main influences of my work comes from the idea of aestheticism and consumerism dealing with identity and banality within contemporary culture.

I draw reference and explore elements from many different areas, from fashion to the banal ideals and images of everyday life, to the extreme taboos of explicit sexual nature, and question the notion of what is kitsch in modern life.

I paint with a wide range of materials, including enamel, acrylic, oil paint, and watercolours, depending on which effect is suited to the imagery which I am looking to create in relation to the ideas of my work.

I have experience working for the Aspex gallery in Portsmouth, and also for the designer and artist Peter Imbrugger at the Designblock in London.
